Cross-sector digital platform opens new supplier opportunities

A new cross-industry digital platform aimed at connecting New Zealand’s buyers and suppliers is set to launch in March, offering engineering and manufacturing suppliers an opportunity to extend their reach well beyond their traditional sectors.

Industry Connect NZ (ICNZ) has been developed as a national, digital-only magazine designed to bridge four major industrial sectors: food processing and manufacturing, engineering and manufacturing, construction and building, and freight transport, distribution and warehousing. The concept is simple but strategic. While each sector operates independently, they are closely linked in practice. Engineers supply food processors, builders engage logistics providers, manufacturers work with construction and infrastructure firms.

ICNZ brings these interconnected markets together in a single, year-round digital platform.

The first edition launches in March 2026 and is supported by a projected 570,000-plus verified annual exposures across all four sector databases. The digital magazine will be distributed quarterly via dedicated EDM sends, embedded in digital editions, included in pre-issue teasers and monthly newsletters, and hosted across industry websites.

Unlike a traditional single-issue publication, the annual digital edition continues to circulate throughout the year, effectively acting as a persistent touchpoint across the industrial network.

“For suppliers to the engineering and manufacturing sectors, the opportunity lies in crossover visibility. Rather than targeting one vertical in isolation, advertisers can position their message in front of decision-makers across food production, infrastructure development, transport and warehousing,” says new business sales Executive, Keith Falloon.

Falloon has 30 years’ experience within the sector, adding: “In changing economic conditions, broader industry exposure can help generate new conversations, diversify sales pipelines and identify adjacent markets.”

Advertising options range from quarter-page placements through to double-page spreads, with the ability to feature paid editorial content, display advertising or refreshed content drawn from previous campaigns. New placements can also be developed specifically for the inaugural cross-industry edition.

With spaces limited for the first issue, bookings are now open. Sponsored: Suppliers interested in participating in the March 2026 launch can contact Keith Falloon, new business sales executive on 027 532 6027 or email kfalloon@hayleymedia.com
